Nach Aussagen der Einlieferin, wurde sie Mitte der 1950-er Jahre als Säugling im Pfarrhaus von Hochdorf für einige Monate untergebracht, welches sich in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Schloss befindet. Die kinderlos gebliebene Baronin Alice v. Tessin hütete sie als Säugling, wenn die Pfarrfrau viel beschäftigt war und hüllte sie oft in diese Decke und trug das Kindlein gerne auf ihrem Arm durch Schloss und Garten. Schließlich wurde diese Decke dann von der Baronin als Geschenk an die Pfarrfrau für das Kind vermacht. Zyclamfarbenes Seidengewebe mit Goldfadenstickerei und Goldborde. Ca. 2,08 x 2,08 m. Die goldene Borde wurde jüngst im Jahr 2022 extra in der Kunsthochschule Burg Giebichenstein zu Halle fachmännisch restauriert. Es könnte sich bei dem Objekt ursprünglich auch um einen Wandbehang oder eine Altardecke handeln. Das prachtvolle Objekt kann als edler Blickfang als Decke oder auch gut als Wandbehang in einer großzügigen Räumlichkeit präsentiert werden. Altersspuren, partiell restauriert

| From aristocratic property - Very fine blanket from the house of v. Tessin from Hochdorf Castle (Eberdingen, district of Ludwigsburg) with an exciting history. According to the consignor, in the mid-1950s she was housed as an infant for a few months in the vicarage in Hochdorf, which is in the immediate vicinity of the castle. The childless Baroness Alice v. Tessin looked after her as an infant when the parish wife was very busy and often wrapped her in this blanket and was happy to carry the infant in her arms through the castle and garden.
