Silber, vergoldet, polychromes Email, Besatz von kl. roten Cabochons, auf der Wandung umlaufende Blüten und Blattranken in fein Cloisonné-Email, Feinheitsmarke 84 und dem Jahr 1892, Meisterzeichen für Pavel Akimowitsch Ovchinnikov mit dem Russischen Doppelkopfadler, Gewicht 314 g., HxD: 9,5/12 cm. Normale Alters-und Gebrauchsspuren.
1853 eröffnete er eine eigene Werkstatt. Ab 1865 erhielt er die Auszeichnung des Hoflieferanten und wurde darüber hinaus mit zahlreichen Preisen für seine Silbererzeugnisse ausgezeichnet. Berühmt ist Ovchinnikov für seine in Cloisonné und Plique-à-Jour Email gearbeiteten Objekte und zählt daher neben Fabergé zu der bedeutendste Silber- und Goldschmiedemeister in Russland.

Silver, gilt, polychrome enamel, set with small red cabochons, on the wall surrounding blossoms and leafy vines in fine cloisonné enamel, fineness mark 84 and the year 1892, maker's mark for Pavel Akimovich Ovchinnikov with the Russian double-headed eagle, weight 314 g., HxD: 9,5/12 cm. Normal signs of age and use.
In 1853 he opened his own workshop. From 1865 he received the distinction of purveyor to the court and was also awarded numerous prizes for his silver products. Ovchinnikov is famous for his objects worked in cloisonné and plique-à-jour enamel and is therefore, next to Fabergé, one of the most important silver and goldsmiths in Russia.
