18.Jh., geschnitzt, grün gefasst und teilvergoldet, der Schrein in Art eines Tabernakels in bewegten Rokoko-Formen, Front und Seiten verglast, das an den Ecken und der Rückwand vorkragende Fußprofilgesims über vier Volutenfüßen, die Eckpfeiler C-bogig gestaltet mit Rokokoblattwerk geschnitzt, aufschwingender Volutengiebel mit hochziehender Figuren-Bekrönung, darin der Hl. Georg auf querrechteckige und als Erdboden gestaltete Plinthe,darauf in Seitenansicht das aufsteigende Pferd des Heiligen mit einer fein ausgearbeiteten mit Ornamenten geschmückten Manteldecke, der hl. Georg in detailliert gestalteter Rüstung hielt ehemals eine Lanze in seinen ausgestreckten Händen, die er in den Rachen des geflügelten Drachen stieß, der in massiger Körperlichkeit unter dem Pferd wiedergegeben ist, HxB: 77/39 cm. Altersspuren, Bestoßungen mit Verlusten an der Farbfassung.
BAROQUE ALTAR SHRINE
18th century, carved, set in green and partly gilded, the shrine in the style of a tabernacle in moving rococo forms, front and sides glazed, the cornice of the foot profile cantilevered at the corners and the back wall over four volute feet, the corner pillars carved in C-arms with rococo leaves, swinging volute gable with raising figure-crowning, in it St. Francis is depicted.
