Starke Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, gedellt, am Deckel eingerissen, am Boden Lötstelle.

Lidded box with a rectangular body on four volute feet decorated with rocailles, wall with humpback decoration, hinged lid with a handle in the shape of a pumpkin with leaves (missing parts), with lock but without key (probably broken off in the lock), souvenir engraving on the underside: 'M. H. u. Th. H. z. fr. Er. 1865' ('...zur freundlichen Erinnerung...'), 12 lot (750 silver, tested), interior gilding (rubbed), approx. 13.5 x 13 x 10 cm, weight approx. 251 g. Strong signs of age and use, dented, torn on the lid, soldering point on the bottom.
