Bronze, brüniert, auf dem Sockel bezeichnet "F. Barbedienne Fondeur", H: 36 cm. Leichte Altersspuren. BARBEDIENNE war Bildhauer und industrieller Hersteller von Skulpturen nach berühmten musealen Vorbildern. Seit 1839 mit Achille Collas geschäftlich assoziiert.

BARBEDIENNE, FERDINAND (1810-1892, French sculptor and foundry), "Roman Emperor", bronze, burnished, inscribed on the pedestal "F. Barbedienne Fondeur", h: 36 cm. Slight signs of age. BARBEDIENNE was a sculptor and industrial manufacturer of sculptures after famous museum models. Since 1839 business associated with Achille Collas.
