Oberrhein, Ende 19.Jh., Holz, vollrund geschnitzt, ältere, farbige Fassung, auf Vorderansicht gestaltete stehende Ganzfigur der Muttergottes, Maria in rotem Kleid mit weitem, in Schüsselfalten gelegtem Mantel gehüllt, das Kind im linken Arm sitzend, die Beinchen in Hoheitsform verschränkt, in der Linken hält es einen Apfel,der Blick ist nach außen gerichtet, das ausdrucksvolle Gesicht der Maria gerahmt von seitlich herabgeführtem, lockigem Haar, stilistisch ausdrucksvoll der schmale Nasenrücken sowie das kleine Mündchen mit leicht vorgestellten Lippen über markant gerundetem Kinn, die halb geschlossenen Augenlider leicht schräg, mit starken Lidpolstern, die in die Brauen einziehen, die kontrapostische Haltung und der gleichmäßige S-Schwung der Figur wird durch die differenzierte Gestaltung der Gewänder Mariens unterstrichen, H: 80 cm.
