Bayern/Oberammergau, 18.Jh.,Lindenholz, vollplastisch geschnitzt und teilw. vergoldet, jeweils fein geschnitzte Darstellung eines Puttos in bewegter Haltung, einen Leuchter in Form eines Füllhornes haltend, leicht geneigte Häupter mit weich modelliertem lockigen Haar und lächelnden Gesichtszügen, jeweils als Gegenstücke gearbeitet, Etikette mit Widmung H: ca.35 cm. Part. beschädigt und restauriert.

COUPLE OF ALTAR ANGELS
Bavaria/Oberammergau, 18th century, lime wood, fully carved and partly gilded, each finely carved depiction of a putto in moving posture, holding a candlestick in the shape of a cornucopia, slightly sloping heads with softly modelled curly hair and smiling facial features, each worked as a counterpart, label with dedication H: ca.35 cm. Part damaged and restored.
