Altbayern/Allgäu, Mitte 18. Jh., Figurenschrein mit Schnitzfigur Christus an der Geißelsäule, Schrein mit geschnitzter Kartuschenbekrönung und gefasste Schnitzfigur, HxB: 49/26 cm. Altersspuren. Bei dem Schnitzbildwerk handelt es sich um ein interessantes Gelübde-Andachtsbild, dem "Heiland in der Wies", nach dem Wallfahrts-Heiligtum der bekannten Wies-Kirche und dem Wallfahrtsziel der Wies-Kapelle nördlich von Freising.

Signs of age. The carving is an interesting vow devotional picture, the "Heiland in der Wies", after the pilgrimage shrine of the famous Wies church and the pilgrimage destination of the Wies chapel north of Freising.
