Pelbart von Temeswar war ein ungarischer Franziskanermönch, Prediger sowie bedeutender Autor spätmittelalterlicher Predigtsammlungen und Bibelkommentare. Sein Werk gilt als ein überregionaler Klassiker der Predigtliteratur. Am Buchanfang handschriftlicher Besitzereintrag aus dem 16.Jh. Diverse historische handschriftliche Einträge mit roter Tinte. Sehr deutliche Alters-und Gebrauchsspuren durch fehlende Buchschließen, stark beschädigter Einband, innerer Bucheinband z.T. aus alten Handschriften gefertigt, Wurmlöcher, z.T. stark angegriffene Seiten, Verfärbungen, Risse, Abrieb, handschriftliche Einträge.

Pelbart of Timisoara was a Hungarian Franciscan monk, preacher and important author of late medieval sermon collections and Bible commentaries. His work is considered a national classic of sermon literature. Handwritten owner's entry from the 16th century at the beginning of the book. Various historical handwritten entries in red ink. Very clear signs of age and usage due to missing book clasps, badly damaged binding, inner binding partly made from old manuscripts, wormholes, partly badly damaged pages, discolouration, tears, abrasion, handwritten entries.
