Geschichte der Familie Werneth mit Fokus auf Carl Werneth, einem jungen Triberger Fabrikantensohn, der am Anfang des 20.Jhs. zu Weiterbildungs- und Studienzwecken nach NYC reiste und dort auch Nebenjobs in der Gastronomie ausübte. Die Familie leitete über mehrere Generationen hinweg eine Gießerei im Schwarzwald. 1 Kodak-Fotoalbum mit Fotos vom Anfang 20.Jhs. aus New York City, Brighton Beach/ Brighton Beach Hotel. Im Brighton Beach Hotel war Carl Werneth zeitweise als Somelier tätig. Zeitungsausschnitt über die Eröffnung eines Restaurants im Flat Iron Gebäude, hier bestand wohl ebenfalls eine Arbeitsverbindung, weitere Fotografien. 1 x Schublade mit Postkarten von der Amerikapassage, Familienkorrespondenz über Postkarten u. Briefe Triberg/Deutschland - NYC, Arbeitszeugnis, Reisepass, weiteres. 1 x Box mit christlichen Sprüchen/ Bildchen/ kleines gerahmtes Andenkenbild, 2 x religiöse Erbauungsliteratur. | Werneth family estate, Triberg, Germany - History of the Werneth family with focus on Carl Werneth, a young Triberg factory owner's son, who traveled to NYC at the beginning of the 20th century for further education and studies and also held side jobs in the restaurant business. The family ran a foundry in the Black Forest for several generations. 1 Kodak photo album with early 20th century photos from New York City, Brighton Beach/ Brighton Beach Hotel. Carl Werneth worked at the Brighton Beach Hotel as a somelier for a time.
