Meissen, 18. Jh., Vase mit Allegorie des Sommers, aus einer Folge der 4 Jahreszeiten, wohl nach einem Modell von J.J. Kaendler, hohe schlanke goldstaffierte Rocaillenvasen auf rundem hohem Fuß, die Wandung mit plastisch aufgesetzten, bunt staffierten Blüten und allegorischem Beiwerk, durchbrochen und reich reliefiert mit Rocaillenkartuschen, Unterglasurblaue Schwertermarke, H: ca. 33 cm. Altersbedingte Gebrausspuren, rest.
Provenienz: Kunsthandel Nikolaus Hanselmann-Stuttgart.

Meissen, 18th century, vase with allegory of summer, from a series of the 4 seasons, probably after a model by J.J. Kaendler, tall slender gold decorated rocaille vases on a round high foot, the wall with plastically applied, colourfully painted blossoms and allegorical accessories, openwork and richly decorated with rocaille cartouches in relief, underglaze blue sword mark, h: approx. 33 cm. Signs of wear due to age, rest.
