Die Datierung ist unklar: Die Marke ähnelt der Marke ab 1918, als Wilhelm II. der Schorndorfer Manufaktur erlaubte, die Ludwigsburger Marke zu verwenden, allerdings mit dem Zusatz "BP" oder "WPM", diese Zusätze fehlen. Bei der Teekanne wurde die ursprüngliche Marke abgeschliffen, die Marke befindet sich auf einem der drei Füße. Die Marken nach 1948 und vor 1825 sehen in der Regel anders aus.
