Holz, farbig gefasst, vollplastisch geschnitzte Figurengruppe, die bekrönte Maria den segnenden Christusknaben mit Reichsapfel vor sich in Richtung Betrachter haltend, über ovaler Plinthe stehend, auf quadratischem Sockel montiert (wohl ergänzt), HxB:T: ca. 56x20x15 cm. Restauriert und Arm Christi mit Reichsapfel ergänzt, Fehlstelle an der Plinthe. PROVENIENZ: nach Auskunft der Einlieferer kam diese Madonna um 1740 aus einem Koster in Diessen am Ammersee durch einen in Diessen tätigen Kammerdiener in die Familie.

Century, South German/Alpine region, Gothic "Madonna and Child", wood, painted, fully three-dimensional carved group of figures, the crowned Mary holding the blessing Christ child with the orb in the direction of the viewer, standing on an oval plinth, mounted on a square base (probably supplemented ), HxW:D: approx. 56x20x15 cm. Restored and the arm of Christ supplemented with an orb, the plinth has a missing part. PROVENANCE: according to information from the consignor, this Madonna came to the family around 1740 from a monastery in Diessen am Ammersee through a valet working in Diessen.
