Rheinländisch, 17./18. Holz, vollplastisch geschnitzt, im Kontrapost stehende Figur der bekrönten Muttergottes, den Jesusknaben in ihrem linken Arm haltend, dieser in der linken Hand einen Apfel haltend, durch den betonten Kontrapost und das damit einhergehende Abwinkeln der rechten Hüfte der Figur wird eine gewisse Bewegtheit evoziert, H: ca. 120 cm. Altersspuren, rest. und teilw. ergänzt.

LATE GOTHIC MADONNA
Rhineland, 17th/18th wood, carved in full, the figure of the crowned Madonna standing in a contrapost, holding the boy Jesus in her left arm, the boy holding an apple in his left hand, the accentuated contrapost and the accompanying bending of the figure's right hip evoke a certain movement, h: approx. 120 cm. Signs of age, rest. and partly replaced.
