| CHIMNEY CLOCK "Alegory of Astronomy", France, c. 1830, bronze partly fire-gilded, reliefed base with antique depiction, the clock case flanked on top by a young astronomer and allegorical depictions of astronomy, clockwork rebuilt on spring suspension with strike on the hour and half hour on a bell, inscribed: "PD" and "3077". HxWxD: 38/26/9.5 cm. Slight signs of age and wear, rest, replacement, movement functioning in short test.
