das kleinformatige Stundenbuch entstand Anfang des 14.Jhs. im Auftrag König Karls IV. von Frankreich für seine Frau Jeanne d'Evreux und war später u.a. im Besitz des Jean Duc de Berry sowie der Familie Rothschild. Die Schrift ist verziert mit 25 ganzseitigen Grisaille-Miniaturen und Marginalfiguren. Ausgabe Nr. 37/ 980, Faksimile Verlag Luzern 1988. Faksimile in goldgeprägtem Ledereinband mit Buchschließen, 9x6 cm, eingewickelt in Leinentuch, mit Interimskommentar (bis zum damaligen Erscheinen des regulären Kommentarbands), Lupe und Fotografie der Ausgabe mit regulärem Kommentar anbei, in blauer Stoffkassette mit goldener Aufschrift. Das Original befindet sich heute im Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, Wasserflecken an Kassette, Flecken und abgenutzte Ecken.

| Facsimile "The Book of Hours of Joan of Evreux" - The small-format book of hours was created at the beginning of the 14th century by order of King Charles IV of France for his wife Jeanne d'Evreux and was later owned by Jean Duc de Berry and the Rothschild family, among others. The typeface is decorated with 25 full-page grisaille miniatures and marginal figures. Edition No. 37/ 980, facsimile publisher Lucerne 1988. Facsimile in gold embossed leather binding with bookclasps, 9x6 cm, wrapped in linen cloth, with interim commentary (until the regular commentary volume appeared at that time), magnifying glass and photograph of the edition with regular commentary attached, in blue cloth case with gold inscription. The original is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. With signs of age and wear, water stains to cassette, stains and worn corners.
