Der Sammelband enthält die Werke : "De Arte Bene Moriendi Libri duo", Köln 1621; "De Septem Verbis a Christo in Cruce Prolatis. Libri Duo, Toul 1618", "De Gemitu Columbae, sive de bono lacrymarum, libri tres, Köln 1628". Roberto Bellarmino (1542-1621) war Theologe und Kardinal. Er wird in der kath. Kirche als Heiliger verehrt. Buchprovenienz: Domus Lugdunensis Soc. Jesu/ JHS Stempel aus dem 17.Jh.. Am Buchbeginn Eigentumskennzeichen MJL Froereisen. Froereisen war ein evangelischer Theologe, der im 17./18.Jh. bei Straßburg wirkte. Im hist. Pergamenteinband mit Rotschnitt mit handgeschriebenem Titel auf dem Buchrücken. Mit Alters-und Gebrauchsspuren, Verfärbungen, handschriftlichen Notizen im Buch, Fehlstelle an einer Seite, Wasserflecken, Knicke.

He is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church. Book provenance: Domus Lugdunensis Soc. Jesu/ JHS stamp from the 17th century. Ownership mark MJL Froereisen at the beginning of the book. Froereisen was a Protestant theologian who worked near Strasbourg in the 17th/18th century. In hist. parchment binding with red edges and handwritten title on the spine. With signs of age and usage, discoloration, handwritten notes in the book, loss on one page, water stains, creases.
