SCHARFF, Brustbild Mozarts n. r., Rv: Schwebende, musizierende, tanzende und Rosen streuenden Putti vor Wolken, ZUR ENTHÜLLUNG SEINES DENKMALS WIEN 1896, vz., Randkerben, Randfehler, schöne Patina, stellenweise Berieb des Reliefs, Kratzer, Fingerabdrücke, ca. 79,5 g. Anton Scharff (1845 - 1903) war ein österreichischer Medailleur. Er schuff u.a. Bildnisse Ludwig II. von Bayern und erhielt im Jahr 1887 den Auftrag, die offizielle Widmungsmedaille anlässlich des 50-jährigen Regierungsjubiläums der Königin Victoria von England anzufertigen. Schüler von Carl Radnitzky (1818 - 1901) an der Wiener Akademie.

Anton Scharff (1845 - 1903) was an Austrian medal maker. Among other things, he created portraits of Ludwig II of Bavaria and in 1887 was commissioned to produce the official dedication medal for the 50th anniversary of the reign of Queen Victoria of England. Pupil of Carl Radnitzky (1818 - 1901) at the Vienna Academy.
