| Oriental carpet made of silk. HEREKE, 20th century, 152x91 cm. The red-brown gable field shows a protruding vase motif and a hanging mosque lamp. The upper two corner panels are creamy white, as is the creamy white main border, which is patterned with floral motifs. Approx. 1,100,000 knots per square meter. Signs of age. Acquired in Feldwies am Chiemsee in 1997 for the equivalent of €1625.
