Anlässlich der Pariser Weltausstellung von 1900 wurde diese Erinnerungsplakette von Jules Roiné für die Mitglieder der SAMF geschaffen. Die Vorderseite folgt einem Entwurf des Malers Albert Besnard, der diesen 1899 für den Wettbewerb für die Gestaltung des Preisdiploms der Weltausstellung einreichte. 145 Exemplare wurden in Bronze geprägt.
