"Cléopâtre", geprägt für die Mitglieder der Société des Amis de la Médaille Française (SAMF), Av: Brustbild Kleopatras en face mit nach rechts gewandtem Kopf, umher Embleme, Rv: Auf nach rechts schreitendem Elefanten sitzt Kleopatra auf Löwenthron, im Hintergrund zwei Diener mit Fächern auf einem zweiten Elefanten, Rand: "Füllhorn" / "BRONZE" / "Eidechse" und Nummer "186, vz-stgl., minimaler Berieb des Reliefs, punktuell leichte Tönung/ Verfärbung, minimaler Randfehler, ca. 178 g, ca. 66 x 83 mm, Das vorliegende Los ist eine bemerkenswert moderne Medaille des damals schon älteren, für seine Tierplastiken berühmten Bildhauers Emmanuel Frémiet (1824-1910). Auf dem Pariser Salon von 1902 wurde die Darstellung von der Kunstkritik als das bemerkenswerteste Stück unter den Medaillen und Plaketten gewürdigt. 137 Exemplare wurden in Bronze geprägt.
