Das Werk von Ernest Nivet (1871 - 1948) zeichnet sich durch eine häufige thematische Wiederaufnahme von bäuerlichen Darstellungen aus. Die Vorderseite der Plakette wurde für die SAMF mit "A l'étable" ("Im Stall"), die Rückseite mit "Femme mettant du linge à sécher sur un arbre" ("Frau, die Wäsche an einem Baum zum Trocknen aufhängt") bezeichnet.
