Vermutlich Kriegsausführung. Hersteller: Weyersberg&Kirschbaum, Solingen. Gesamtlänge: ca. 93 cm. Der Degen kommt mit einer unmarkierten vernickelten Stahlscheide (mit Dellen und Rost). Griff aus echter Fischhaut mit nahezu intakter Drahtumwicklung. Griffbeschläge vmtl. ebenfalls gefertigt aus vernickeltem Stahl. Schlichte Parierstange. Klinge sehr schön erhalten, aber fleckig, vmtl. nicht überarbeitet oder geputzt worden. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren wie Rost, Abplatzungen und Kratzer. Gehänge aus rotem Leder, etwas rissig, berieben und dreckig. Portepee dreckig, fleckig.

| German Empire/Prussia - Infantry officer's sword with sword belt and hanger, around 1900/1st World War, probably a wartime version. Manufacturer: Weyersberg&Kirschbaum, Solingen. Total length: approx. 93 cm. The sword comes with an unmarked nickel-plated steel scabbard (with dents and rust). Grip of genuine chequering with almost intact wire wrapping. Grip fittings probably also made of nickel-plated steel. Plain quillons. Blade very beautifully preserved, but spotted, probably not reworked or cleaned. Signs of age and use such as rust, chipping and scratches. Red leather hilt, somewhat cracked, rubbed and dirty. Portepee dirty, stained.
