Öl auf Leinwand, HxB: ca. 37,5 x 57 cm (HxB Rahmen: ca. 61 x 80 cm). Verso eine Darstellung der Eva. Jeweils Alters- und Beriebsspuren, Verschmutzungen und Farbabrieb. Mit Rahmen (Beschädigungen).
Anmerkung: In der Sammlung Schack, München, befindet sich das gleichnamige, um 1855 entstandene Originalgemälde von Carl Spitzweg (1808 - 1885). Der Akt auf der Rückseite des Gemäldes geht auf die "Versuchung der Eva" von Cecco Bravo (1607 - 1661) aus dem 17. Jahrhundert zurück. Das Gemälde befindet sich heute im MNAC, Barcelona.

Traces of age and rubbing, soiling and colour abrasion in each case. With frame (damage). Note: The Schack Collection, Munich, owns the original painting of the same name by Carl Spitzweg (1808 - 1885), painted around 1855. The nude on the back of the painting is based on the "Temptation of Eve" by Cecco Bravo (1607 - 1661) from the 17th century. The painting is now in the MNAC, Barcelona.
