Der Thron wird durch die Windungen einer Schlange (Naga) gebildet. In der buddhistischen Mythologie beschützt der Nagakönig Mucalinda den Buddha in seiner mehrere Wochen dauernden Meditation vor Regen und Unwetter, indem er seine vielen Köpfe wie einen Schirm über ihn breitet. Schwere Steinskulptur mit Monturstange auf Podest, H: 63,5 cm, Gewicht: 12,7 kg. Im oberen Teil gebrochen (restauriert).
